APWU POWER CONVENTION

Dear APWU POWER Sisters and Brothers:

The APWU POWER Convention will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico July 13-18, 2011.  Delegates should arrive at the hotel on Wednesday, July 13 and depart on Sunday, July 17.  The rate for hotel rooms is $130.00 per night for single or double occupancy.  If available, the group rate will be extended 3 days prior and 3 days after the convention dates.

In addition to the room rate of $130.00, the following charges will be added to each room:

·        14% per night resort fee

·        11% per night local tax

·        1.00 per night attendant fee for each person staying in the room.

SPECIAL NOTE: In addition, each guest residing in the room must pay a onetime fee of $5.25 per person, for baggage handling.  This fee will be added to your hotel bill and is subject to change.

Once the hotel contract is finalized, you will be sent additional information.  PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AIRLINE OR HOTEL RESERVATIONS UNTIL WE NOTIFY YOU.
